Hengqin Port is the most crucial customs clearance port within the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Guangdong Province. It employs the nation's first joint Guangdong-Macao one-stop system, implementing a 'Cooperative Inspection, One-Time Release' clearance model. Five joint inspection units from Guangdong and Macao (including Hengqin Customs, Hengqin Border Inspection, Macao Customs, Macao Public Security Police Force, and Macao Health Bureau) operate on the same channel and platform. By 'Collecting Once, Processing Separately, and Releasing Jointly,' inbound and outbound vehicles achieve 'One-Time Queue, One-Time Release.' This represents another innovative practice by the Hengqin Intensive Cooperation Zone in implementing the new Guangdong-Macao co-consultation, co-construction, co-management, and co-sharing system.
